Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I’m really happy that I found a Turkish restaurant in Munich that serves homemade-style food. Having unlimited tea is an extra bonus. The meat dishes were very delicious; only the dumplings weren’t really my style."
"Came at around 2:30pm. Not busy around this time. I asked the staff to explain to me how to order. Basically 1 meat, 2 vegs and a rice or bulgur together cost €12.40. I picked eggplants with ground meat as my meat dish, zucchini and white beans as my 2 vegs, and bulgur. The food was tasty and filling. I enjoyed the food, the service and the ambience."
"We have been regular customers of this restaurant for six years. We visit frequently for breakfast—whether with our loved ones, guests who come to visit us, or as a couple. It is a wonderful restaurant, and the staff are generally kind and friendly. The place is always busy, and the food is usually delicious. I am giving 4 stars only because unfortunately, during our last visit, our order was brought incorrectly and duplicated. What we actually ordered was: • Breakfast for one • Eggs with sausage What we received instead was: • Breakfast for two • Turkish eggs with Tomato • Fried eggs • Fried eggs with sausage This resulted in an unreasonable and excessive amount of food, which we did not order. In addition, we unfortunately found a hair in the Turkish eggs dish, so we did not touch it. We noticed what happened and spoke politely with the staff member, simply to bring it to her attention. Despite everything, we were still willing to pay the full amount. I kindly hope the restaurant will be more careful in the future—both with order accuracy and food presentation. Payment itself is not the issue, but customers have the right to choose exactly what they want to eat. Thank you for your understanding"
"Amazing freshly made Turkish food that brought a warm vibe into the belly and tasted like homemade food. The ladies onsite were kind and friendly. The portion was huge and the price was very affordable. They also have Turkish bread. Great for vegetarians. It's essentially a canteen style restaurant where one chooses 3 dishes or 4 for fixed prices. They also had complementary Turkish tea. Super spacious dining hall."
"I went to Anne’s in Munich and honestly, the food was really good. Everything is halal and you can tell it’s made fresh. I had some manti and tea, and everything had great flavor. It reminded me of home cooking, just simple and tasty. The people working there were very friendly too. They took time to explain the menu and were smiling the whole time. You feel welcome right away, which I really liked. The only thing is the place could be a bit cleaner, especially the tables and bathroom. It’s not terrible, just something small they could improve. But overall, the experience was really nice and I would definitely come again. Good food, nice people, and halal what more do you need?"
"The restaurant's menu is extensive, and the food is delicious and healthy. The atmosphere is peaceful, and its proximity to the city center is a plus. We'd also like to thank employee Taha for his attentiveness."
"The food was good — I ordered both the breakfast plate and the menemen with sucuk. In my opinion, it’s a bit overpriced. Not all the waiters were welcoming; one guy at the entrance was particularly unfriendly and spoke to guests as if he was doing them a favor. The others were fine, with one waitress standing out for really trying her best to serve customers. My menemen took a while to arrive and was served without bread — I had to ask for it and wait again. All in all, it was okay."
"Definitely five star. Who ever likes to try home cooked meal from Turkiye."
